Al-Hayat Lilatfal
Al-Hayat Lilatfal ("Life for Children"), was first published in 1986, and is currently published bimonthly, 56 color pages per issue. Al-Hayat Lilatfal is the first locally published Palestinian children's magazine. The corporation of writers, illustrators, and specialists from a variety of areas in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Israel work in conjunction to produce this magazine, which aims to strengthen the identity of the children, to plant the seeds of creativity, brotherhood, equality, independence and dignity. Each issue contains articles that focus on the following subjects: "Folk Songs and Stories", "Visiting Historical Locations", "Games of our Grandparents", and "Educating our Children into the International Community"; along with scientific topics, computer topics, arts and literature. ACFA currently published approximately 10,000 copies of each issue, and distributes the magazine throughout the Palestinian world. Mohammad Badarni edits the publication and Luda Galapshi provides illustrations.
