Palestinian Folk Encyclopedia for Children
The first folkloric, heritages and arts encyclopedia of books for children in the Arab world, this Encyclopedia covers the following materials: proverbs and sayings, the folkloric stories, songs, our Palestinian customs, games of the old days, our fashions, our music, and other fields that are of an interest to the children. This series is composed of 8 volumes, 100 pages each, with colored pictures and photos. ACFA pulled the material together with the assistance of various specialists (Dr. Abdel Lateef Al-Bargouthi, Mohammad Badarni and Ms. Rita Grayeb) and a consulting committee reviewed the material before publication. We published the series in 1996, working as such, listing the contents and approving them, preparing the appropriate resources, and composing the chapters listed below.
